FAQ: What Brand Standards are Needed for Charlie Setup?

Modified on Sat, 29 Mar at 9:34 AM

Q: What brand assets are needed to set up an account in Charlie?

A: To set up your environments in Charlie we need a few key pieces of information from you.  This guide will walk you through each item we need to create a fully branded experience for your customers and users.

1. Privacy Policy, Terms of Use and Consents

We need copies of your Privacy Policy and Terms of Use (if applicable) to comply with data privacy standards and legal requirements. These documents will be referenced within the login screens of Charlie. Users will need to agree to these terms before accessing your application.

Please provide the following:

  • A URL link to your Privacy Policy.

  • A URL link to your Terms of Use.

We need copies of your Consumer Consents in PDF Version.

  • Email and Text Messaging Policy

  • Electronic Consent Agreement

  • Authorization to Pull Credit

Note: If you do not have these documents, please let us know. We can offer guidance on preparing these or discuss alternatives.

2. Friendly Name for Environment Branding

The Friendly Name is the name displayed to users during the sign-in process, making it clear that they are accessing your organization’s environment. For instance, if your company is "Wilqo," the sign-in message might read:

"Log in to Wilqo to continue to the Wilqo App."

What we need from you:

  • Friendly Name (e.g., your company's public name that will be used during the login process)

This name should be simple and recognizable for your users, ensuring they feel comfortable and confident about where they are logging in.

3. Logo for Sign-In and Branding

To make your environment visually recognizable, we need your company logo in two formats:

  1. Logo URL:

    • A link that points to the location of your logo, which will be displayed in the Azure AD (ADO) sign-in page.

    • Example: This URL will be used to fetch your logo during user authentication to brand the sign-in page accordingly.

  2. Logo File in SVG Format:

    • This will be used across different parts of the platform for high-quality and responsive branding.

    • Format Required: SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics)

Note: The SVG format is required to ensure your logo appears crisp across all devices and screen sizes. Please provide the highest quality version you have available.

How to Provide These Assets

To make the process easier, please complete this form.

Once we have all these items, we will begin configuring your environments to align with your brand. We will keep you updated on each step of the branding implementation and notify you once the environments are ready for review.
