Purpose
Set up test users in Azure Active Directory (AAD) so you can safely validate Charlie's access and role permissions before rolling out to production.

Step-by-Step Setup (Azure AD)
- In the Azure portal, go to Azure Active Directory > Users > New User.
- Enter the User principal name (e.g.,
test.loanofficer@youremaildomain.com). - Enter the Display name (e.g., Morty Originator).
- Set a temporary password (check “Auto-generate” if desired).
- Fill out the Propertiestab:
- First name (e.g., Morty)
- Last name (e.g., Originator)
- Email → must match the User principal name set in step 2.
- Under Assignments, add the test user to the correct staging and production security group (e.g., LoanOriginator).
- Click Create to finish.
Best Practices
Use consistent naming conventions for test accounts.
Store test credentials securely.
Remove test accounts when no longer needed.
Document which account represents which Charlie role.
