Mercury Network Appraisal Integration

Modified on Wed, 30 Sep at 1:27 PM

The integration streamlines the appraisal process by allowing users to:

  • Submit appraisal orders from within the platform.
  • Track and update appraisal requests.
  • Receive completed appraisal reports automatically in the document repository.

Credential-Based Setup

  • Users must configure Mercury credentials in Credential Manager before the integration becomes available.
  • Once credentials are present, Mercury Network appears as an available appraisal vendor during ordering.

 Appraisal Ordering

  • Select a Mercury appraisal product.
  • Set appraisal priority, including rush requests.
  • Choose a valuation method.
  • Specify occupancy information.
  • Attach supporting documents such as sales contracts.

Order Management

  • View existing orders.
  • Submit additional orders if needed.
  • Add comments.
  • Upload supporting documents.
  • Cancel or modify requests through the order update process.

Automatic Document Delivery

  • The integration listens for Mercury events through webhooks.
  • Completed appraisal reports are automatically stored in the loan's document folder.
  • Reports are categorized as appraisal documents for easier identification and retrieval.

Current Limitation

The current release returns the completed appraisal PDF only. Individual appraisal data fields are not yet written back into the system because full XML processing is not currently implemented.

A future phase of the integration is expected to:

  • Support appraisal XML processing.
  • Map appraisal data back into system fields.
  • Improve structured appraisal data ingestion and validation.
