November Underwriting Enhancements

1. Charlie introduces a few new tools and visibility improvements designed to strengthen underwriting accuracy and efficiency.

2. First, Alternate Borrower Names now display directly within Underwriter Reviews, appearing alongside all other borrower details.

3. This provides a complete and consistent view, matching what is seen across the system within Application, Credit and Closing activities.

4. The Fraud section has also been updated.

You’ll now see Drive Report details and Credit Response Alerts within underwriting, keeping all fraud insights aligned across Charlie.

5. Two important improvements enhance the underwriting Decision screen.

6. The panel now clearly displays the Qualifying Rate and the calculation type, which defaults to Calculated but can be switched to Manual. When using a Calculated rate, it also shows the specific method applied based on agency guidelines, such as Start Rate, Fully Indexed, or Note +2.

7. The Max Allowable Term default calculation section is now integrated into the Underwriter Review checklists, bringing key guideline limits for government loans into the workflow where needed most.
